Chinese New Year 2010

Two new moons after winter solstice, springs energy raises its head, as a Tiger. Chinese New Year of the Tiger.

After a full blue moon, 13th moon in the year, once only every 25 years, a Golden or White Tiger.

We also had on Dec 31st a blue moon… calling in 2010.

After a tumultuous, and in many ways, mainly shocking environmental new developments, we see Armageddon:

In 9/11, New Orleans flooding ,the Tsunami then the economical breakdown and finally the worst recorded tragedy of all, Haiti.

2009 was actually a year for ploughing the land and planting new seed, this year the Tiger takes us into the new era with all his attributes.

The Golden Tiger is one of the most beautiful creatures on the planet.

In many Asian cultures it is a manifestation of courage, power, passion and royalty. In Feng shui it is one of the four celestial animals. With the Green Dragon, Red Phoenix and Black Tortoise, it takes its place as the White Tiger.

The Tiger symbolises the female Yin energy as opposed to the male Yang energy of the Dragon. The markings on his head resemble the Chinese character "Wang" or King.

The Tiger in Imperial China is the military emblem of the highest supreme commanders of the army symbolising fearlessness and victory. The Dragon is the insignia of the Emperors.

The Tiger, he also represents earth, while the Dragon Heaven.

As we enter a new Era the Metal Tiger or Golden Tiger …metal being related to gold and money and metal being seen as white, we also have the White Tiger. Rare to be seen these days...with captivating beauty, it must be said. The powerful and stealth prowesses of the Tiger inspire the martial art movements of many Kung-Fu masters.

We need to catch that Tigers tail! Into the new era. Falling on Valentines Day February 14th this year 2010 Love is the Garden of Eden, where the seeds of a new era will awaken. Love and peace is all we need right now…and Light.
